King Charles III, Lord of Mann, is visiting the Island on Tuesday 14th July 2026. As part of his tour, he will be visiting the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway.
Due to the requirements of the visit around the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, services of the Manx Electric Railway have been altered and will run to the below timetable.
To confirm, no service will be in operation between Derby Castle (Douglas) and Laxey until 15:10 from Douglas and 15:25 from Laxey. Visitors planning to attend the events in Douglas will need to use bus vannin services to get from Ramsey and Laxey into Douglas:
