The Manx Electric Railway will be operating tram services between Monday 23rd to Friday 27th February on the following timetable:

MER Timetable V1

This timetable may be subject to revision following the first day of operation on Monday February 23rd.

Services are timed primarily to service the schools along the Manx Electric Railway, but services are open to all passengers - the 07:25 service from Ramsey is useful for commuters in place of the X3 bus service.

These services are treated as bus services for ticketing - standard bus fares will apply on all services and School Children may use the relevant SCH travel cards to travel to and from school. The usual principles used by bus vannin in terms of Go Silver, Go Gold, Go Places, Go Saver etc will all apply to these services too.

Please note that, due to ongoing track renewal works in the Ballaglass area, there may be slight delays to the times shown. Our crews will endeavor to maintain time where possible.

If you are to use the service, please ensure that you tell the conductor on boarding where you wish to alight - the trams are not fitted with stop buttons like the buses.

Please also note that all stops other than Derby Castle, Laxey & Ramsey are request stops. Make a clear signal to the tram driver, like you would to stop a bus - if in darkness, use a torch or your phone screen to make yourself visible to the tram driver.

We are expecting bus vannin to provide link buses to meet each arrival into Derby Castle and take passengers to Lord St.
