Service X3 | 6 April 2026 - Further Notice

Due to restricted access caused by low hanging tree branches, the Service X3 is unable to serve Clifton Drive or Thornhill Park until further notice. Service to Mooragh Promenade and Ramsey & District Cottage Hospital will be maintained.

St Marks - Eairy

Due to this closure there are changes to the following services:

The morning Service 14 is unable to serve the section of route between Braaid, St Marks, Tosaby Road and Eairy.
The afternoon Service 8 diverts from St Marks via Braaid and Garth to Eairy Dam and Foxdale.

Service 8 Alteration | Saturday 15 August

With effect from Saturday 15 August Service 8/8s journeys operate to the Fridays timetable on Saturdays.

Departures from Peel:
0800 (Ser 4) | 0905 | 1105 | 1305 | 1505

Departures from Port Erin:
1003 | 1203 | 1403 | 1603 | 1713

Journeys between Port Erin and The Sound are not changed

Peel Pump Station Works on Peel Promenade | 21 September 2026 until 30 January 2027

Due to these,  buses are unable to serve the House of Manannin, and the Peel Promenade stops from 21September 2026 until 30 January 2027 - or until works are completed.

On arrival in Peel from Douglas all Service 5, 5c & 6 journeys operate direct via Albany Road to the Peel Town Hall stop.

Service 5/5c journeys to Ramsey then depart the Town Hall stop at the scheduled time.
Service 6 journeys to Ballawattleworth then depart the Town Hall stop at 11 minutes past each hour via Christian Street and Peveril Road to Reayrt Aalin.

Closure of Road in Foxdale |  0900 - 1600 on Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 & Thursday 8 October

For tree felling works, the road between Higher and Lower Foxdale is closed between 0900 and 1600 on Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 & Thursday 8 October 2026.

On these days, between the 0845 Service 4b and 1520 Service 4 departures from Peel Town Hall there are no direct services between Peel and Foxdale.

Diverted Services:

Service 4/4b/4n

The 0915, 0955, 1115, 1315, 1415 & 1440 Douglas to Peel (or Niarbyl) journeys divert from Braaid crossroads via Glen Darragh Road, Crosby, Ballacraine and Curragh Road to The Hope (1440 journey operates to Ballacraine only then to St Johns).

The 1008, 1057, 1208 & 1354 Peel to Douglas journeys divert from The Hope via Curragh Road, Ballacraine, Crosby and Glen Darragh Road to Braaid crossroads.

Service 8/8s:

The 0905 Peel to Sound journey departs Peel at 0845 to then depart the Main Road shelter in Higher Foxdale at 0918 as timetabled.

The 1105, 1305 and 1442 Peel to Castletown journeys operate from Douglas as shown below.

The 0940, 1140 & 1340 Sound to Peel journeys operate to Cooil Road or Douglas (as Service 8d) as shown below.

For each closure, as soon as notification is received that the road has re-opened then buses resume normal routes.

Blackberry Lane Energy Works | Monday 12 October - Monday 2 November

Blackberry Lane is closed for IOM Energy works.

Diverted Services:

The Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 1201 and 1401 Service 15 journeys divert in each direction via Governors Road between Governors Bridge and Central Onchan.
Therefore, the stops on Summerhill Road are unable to be served. 

If Blackberry Lane re-opens before 2 November then buses resume the normal route.
