The Douglas to Foxdale road is closed between Braaid and Garth from 0930 to 1530.

Diversions to Service 4b

The 1115 departure from Douglas diverts from Braaid crossroads via St. Mark’s and the Tosaby Road to The Eairy.

The 1208 departure from Peel diverts from The Eairy via Tosaby Road and St. Mark’s to Braaid crossroads.

 

Sunday 4 May

Various roads in the Jurby area are closed from 1035 to 1630

During the closure period bus services to Jurby and Andreas operate as follows.

Peel Oie Voaldyn (May Day) on Sunday 4 May 2025

Due to the above event all daytime Service 5 & 6 journeys from Douglas are unable to serve the bus stops at the House of Manannan and Peel Promenade. 

On arrival in Peel from Douglas all Service 5 & 6 journeys operate direct via Albany Road to the Peel Town Hall stop.

Service 5 journeys to Ramsey then depart the Town Hall stop at the normal time.

Service 6 journeys to Ballawattleworth then depart the Town Hall stop at 11 minutes past each hour via Christian Street and Peveril Road to Reayrt Aalin.

If the event is cancelled then buses operate as timetabled.

If the event is postponed to Monday 5 May then the above diversions apply.
