Closure of road at Bishopscourt on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 October 2025
Between 0930 and 1530 hrs each day for tree felling.
During the closures there are no through journeys from Ramsey to Peel after the 0910 Ramsey departure until the 1610 departure and between Peel and Ramsey after the 0845 Peel departure until the 1450 departure.
Limited services operate:
Departing Peel Town Hall to Kirk Michael (Station Road) at 0950, 1050, 1150, 1250 and 1350
Departing Kirk Michael (school bus stop) to Peel an Douglas at 1133, 1233, 1433 and 1533
An extra journey departs Kirk Michael (school bus stop) at 1310 which operates direct to Douglas via Cronk-y-Voddy, Ballacraine and Crosby (not serving Peel or St Johns).
Ramsey to Ballaugh at 0950, 1255 & 1450 (calling into the Wildlife Park on request)
Ramsey to the Wildlife Park at 1205 & 1400
Ballaugh to Ramsey (via Wildlife Park) at 1013, 1318 & 1513
Wildlife Park to Ramsey at 1222 & 1417
If the works are deferred then buses operate as normal.
In the event of delays to the works, these arrangements may operate on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 October.
One-way system on Avondale Road in Onchan
Due to duct works Avondale Road is one-way from Elm Tree Road to Main Road between 0900 and 1600 on Thursday 30 October.
During this traffic restriction the following bus diversions apply.
Services 1h/11/11a from the 0919 departure from Victoria Street divert between Royal Avenue and Hailwood Avenue via Main Road, Governors Road and Bemahague Road therefore not serving Hillberry Road or Birch Hill. These diverted services only serve the bus stop opposite the Manx Arms to set down.
Services 1/1a/12/12a from Hillberry Road to Royal Avenue are not affected.
Services 22/22h from Birch Hill and Hillberry Road to Central Onchan are not affected.
Services 25/25h divert between Victoria Road and Birch Hill via Bemahague Road and Signpost Corner. These diverted services DO NOT serve Central Onchan, Avondale Road or the lower part of Hillberry Road.
